I am Jo Crilley, a solo Filmmaker / Photographer, mother to one child & one cat, based in Boonah, QLD. These blurbs are pretty boring, so I’ll try to keep it interesting:

• I love bright colors (not wearing them, just looking at them)

• My son is the funniest person I know

• I was raised in the country, moved to the city, now I live in the country again - so I love shooting anything Wild West (with a camera I mean)

• I came up with my business name from a dream I had about a blue bird, found one the next day - the name ‘Bluebird’ was already taken - so here we are

• I started the business 8 yrs ago & juggled it with two jobs & raising my son - this is the first year I’m all in full time!

• Younger years I was an aspiring singer/songwriter/actress, turns out I’d rather be in the crowd than in front of it

• I grew up with no tv & no sugar. Now I’m a movie nerd with a sugar addiction.

• My love language is - acts of services & Time spent - which basically means I care a lot about doing a good job and will probably ask you a lot of questions

• It takes me 1.5 hours to watch a film & 3.5 hours to watch all the behind-the-scenes interviews… so I don’t get through many these days.

• I’m a super nerd about: Psychology, quantum science, neuroscience, NDE’s, house plants & homesteading.

• I HATE tall skinny pencil pine trees - they provide no shade & look like creepy fingers.

  and I HATE dressing up in a frock with high heels.

If you read all that good on you! Haha - But what I enjoy most is storytelling and creative, engaging projects. With social media, any industry can be approached this way—and it’s storytelling and creativity that truly make a brand stand out.
